In this course, Steve Dunn will guide students through designing, laying out, and engraving American-style scrolls on folding pocket knives with solid side scales (handles). Students will also learn to utilize precious metal inlays for the dramatic effects in their designs. Gain the skills necessary to create a stunning and intricately detailed pocket knife that is sure to impress.

Prerequisites

Completion of a GRS Basic Course or instructor approval is required, as well as an understanding of proper tool sharpening and basic engraving techniques.

Graver Sharpening Knowledge: 90°, 120°, and flat gravers
