Metal Engraving
Stylistic Scroll on Rings
$1,595.00

This course will focus on executing two very different but popular styles of ring engraving. Students will learn, practice, and engrave a flare-cut design on an 8 mm sterling silver women's band. With a similar design, students will learn, practice, and execute a deep-relief scroll design on a 10 mm men's band. This course explores the difficulties of work holding, layout, and engraving on curved surfaces like a ring. Build a larger customer base by appealing to those who prefer sparkly jewelry as well as those who prefer the classic inked/patinaed engraving style.
