- Hand Sharpening a variety of gravers
- Surface preparation
- Creating various specialty tools for bright cuts and clean-up cuts
- Stone layout techniques on a flat and curved surface
- Using C-max onglette gravers to cut geometrical shapes
- Make and use a C-max 45 degree graver to cut geometrical shapes
- Learn a variety of finishing techniques
Class Project(s)
Prerequisites
Completion of a GRS Basic Course or instructor approval is required, as well as an understanding of proper tool sharpening and basic engraving techniques. Must have experience with bead & bright cut setting.
Must be familiar with hand-sharpening gravers with a micromotor and rubber and diamond discs.
