This fast-paced course offers mid-level training in fabrication and engraving skills. Students can expect to create and finish four projects (copper flower, earrings, a medallion, and concho). This course will provide hands-on experience and training in sculpting, sawing, forming, antiquing, piercing, soldering, engraving, and finishing.
Participants will learn how to set up and use the tools, prepare gravers, execute foundational cuts, and apply techniques consistently and effectively. This course is intended for engravers who have experience doing western engraving and know proper tool sharpening.

Prerequisites
Completion of a GRS Basic Course or instructor approval is required, as well as an understanding of proper tool sharpening and basic engraving techniques. This intensive class requires students to be skilled in sharpening a range of gravers.
Graver Sharpening Knowledge: 90°, 120°, and flat gravers
