Explore the technical challenges of pavé in this course instructed by John Sorich. Learn to layout pavé with stones smaller than 1.2 mm, set irregular/snow and fantasy shapes, use multi-colored stones to create vibrant patterns, and cut ajours to emphasize stones. Students will also learn to hand-sharpen specialty tools needed for these tasks.

Basic stone setting (2 years experience recommended)
Graver Sharpening Knowledge:
Familiarity with sharpening gravers
Other Skills Required:
Ability to create seats in flat metal, familiarity with burs and drilling, good graver control
