Amy Raymond
Bio
Amy Raymond became a silversmith to strike a balance between her love of being a full-time mother and ranch wife and needing a creative outlet.
Her first aspiration was to build cowboy gear and art with her hands. She soon found her niche in making one-of-a-kind items outside the box of the usual belt buckle or spurs. During the course of her journey, many other artisans shared their knowledge of silversmithing, bit and spur making, layout, and hand engraving with her, as well as mentored and encouraged her.
Amy wants to continue developing her skills and has pursued every opportunity to push them further. She strives to keep her designs fresh and exciting while sharing her knowledge through teaching and mentoring others.
