About repairs.
For GRS products purchased prior to 2005, please call for parts and repair availability.
If you find your GRS machine isn’t performing like it once did, it might be time for service or repair. Here you can find an outline of our in-house repair process and a general estimate of repair cost for serviceable machines.
Please see our documentation below on repair fees.
* All estimates include listed parts and labor and DO NOT include shipping costs, which are paid by the customer. Some repairs may be covered if product is under warranty. Please note that OIL CONTAMINATION of any GRS machine voids the warranty. If GRS finds that your machine requires more than the outlined servicing and the repair cost will be more than the general estimate, we will contact you to inform you of the additional work and cost.

Repair is Greg Gentry’s mainstay and passion. He was a GRS customer for several years before taking on a job here as a resident service technician and repairman for GRS equipment. Friendly and outgoing, Greg enjoys working with customers to fix any problems they might be dealing with. His passion for building, tinkering, and repair isn’t limited to his time in the office—he can often be found working in his own shop during his free time.
Rex Pedersen
In addition to tech support, Master Engraver Rex Pedersen has been an instructor at the GRS Training Center for over 10 years. He enjoys working with customers (and occasionally catching up with former students) as he works to solve their problems. He considers engraving a hobby as well as an occupation. He also enjoys working around his farm, fixing up his golf cart, taking care of his barn cats, cooking, and watching NASCAR.
