From student to master, Brian Powley exemplifies how dedication and passion for a craft can transform talent into mastery.

A FEGA Master Engraver, Brian is also an active member of esteemed organizations such as the National Rifle Association, The American Pistolsmiths’ Guild, The American Custom Gunmakers Guild, and The Ohio Gun Collectors Association. Starting his engraving journey as a self-taught hobbyist, Brian’s skills were further refined when he attended the first GRS Grand Master class in 2005. Since then, he has participated in seven additional Grand Master classes, honing his craft to perfection.

In 2002, Brian made the leap to become a full-time engraving artist, dedicating himself entirely to his passion. This year, we are honored to welcome him as a guest instructor at the GRSTC, where he will share his wealth of experience and inspire the next generation of engravers”
