Grand Masters Program: Creative Stone Setting

Join Michael Robinson as he guides you through his extraordinary creative process. In this immersive course, you'll learn to find inspiration in the world around you and push beyond your artistic boundaries. When designing the project for this course, Michael was inspired by an acorn he found in a park near his home. Students will use various techniques, including soldering, doming, pavé, ajourés (with a saw), and specialized problem-solving skills. You will also experiment with unconventional materials—such as a button and penny—alongside more conventional materials to create a stunning piece that reflects the beauty of nature. Challenge yourself beyond technical skills, break free from expectations, and expand your artistic horizons. Apply today and discover new ways to bring your imagination to life!

Students will be chosen by application photos, not time of application. Applications will be accepted from February 17th through March 31st.
