Flat engraving is great, but sculpting is even better! It's considered the most luxurious treatment in hand engraving, producing three-dimensional leaves and scrolls. Not often seen on jewelry, sculpting is rich and beautiful, and wears better than flat and shaded engraving. It's especially good for high wear items like rings, but is suitable for any project.
